Hands are dipped in warm paraffin then placed in mitts to allow a slow cool-down. Paraffin can alleviate pain from arthritis, stiff joints, tendonitis, fibromyalgia, sore muscles and can increase circulation to the skin and open pores. This allows hydrating elements to penetrate the outer layers of dry skin and cuticles. The wax is then peeled off and the hand is massaged.
